Woman of Jewels
Woman of Jewels
-
- Description
-
The Woman of Jewels shows a brash, bare-chested young woman, striding proudly forward. Her hair is thick and wild, the look on her tattooed face inscrutable. Her left arm is decorated with complicated and valuable bone jewelry, and her leading leg is decorated with a swirl of tattoos. Her midriff is covered with fur that blends into the background, dividing an otherwise clear, horizon.
- Interpretation
-
The court cards are by far the most difficult for me to interpret. I've often heard them described as personalities that will enter or affect the life of the querant. If so, the woman for me today will be young, proud, unashamed, beautiful and apparently well taken care of. This is a woman who moves without hesitation, knows her station in life and expects and demands to heard. There's also a vibrant sexuality to this woman that isn't explicit, but neither is it hidden, which adds to the spice of her personality. But she isn't just bluff and bluster, there's a solid competence that lies behind her attitude. In real life, the Queen of Jewels reminds me of Kimora Lee Simmons.
- Application
-
Court cards are always difficult to apply, but perhaps I am to be prepared for a strong female personality today. The interesting thing about this card is the air of being noticed, but also the potential of being passed right by. The Woman of Jewels isn't going to stop and recognize me, even if she notices me. If I want her attention, and it would seem that her attention will be beneficial in some way, I am going to have to stop her and make a case for myself. She is not going to stop and recognize my genius on her own, though she may see something as she passes me by.
